Betuel is an industrial designer based in Chicago. He recently earned his Bachelor of Industrial Design degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He draws inspiration from patterns and forms found in nature and everyday life. His best solutions are often a result from conversations and collaborations with other people. He is passionate about technology, furniture and housewares and their relationship to humans. Recently, Betuel interned at Jordan Mozer and Associates, an architecture and design studio, where he learned how to fabricate several furniture and decorative items for two hospitality projects.
Since 2017, Betuel has been a board member and co-founder of Advanced Design Sketching, a non-profit, that is helping connect and give back to the design community.
In his free time, he enjoys playing tennis, being in nature or taking pictures with his film camera.
